Experience

2023 — Doctor of Philosophy, Sociology

Department of Sociology, University of North Texas

  • Doctoral Dissertation: The University for Who? Student Narratives of Native Identity, Belonging, and Navigating a Racialized Organization (2023)

    • Description: Drawing from participant observation and interview data, I examined the challenges and opportunities for cultural belonging among Native American students at a major public university. Focusing on the relationship between individual identity, participation in a Native American student organization, and the context of the university at large, I uncovered how campus is often a site where Indigenous identity is affirmed through connections with Native peers that sustain cultural identity, even when the bureaucratic apparatus of the university may pose major barriers for inclusion and visibility.

  • Completed Master of Arts in Sociology, Minor in Anthropology (2020)

  • Developed structured evaluation and testing frameworks in partnership with external stakeholders, using performance data to drive evidence-based improvements to paid media that generated $230M in incremental value and sustained ROI growth.

  • Strengthened compliance and risk management systems by implementing automated safeguards and access controls, protecting high-visibility initiatives and reducing the likelihood of reputational or legal exposure.

  • Scoped and piloted new operational processes to support expansion across external distribution partners, managing ~200 complex cases annually and iterating systems based on feedback and performance data to improve speed, accountability, and long-term scalability.

  • Scoped, evaluated, managed acquisition, and integrated strategic AI-powered products to enhance enterprise MarTech operations and drive innovative workflow solutions to a diverse set of stakeholders.
