Hello!
I’m a Ph.D qualitative sociologist with a background in marketing, but a collaborator and idealist by nature. I believe this gives me unique insight into how organizations can leverage innovative solutions to effect change. I value human lived experience, creative expression, and culture, and seek to amplify communities with my work for meaningful progress. I believe my diverse interests and skills transfer to multipotentiality in the workplace, and allow me to tackle problems in fresh ways.
Let’s get personal!
In my spare time, I love being outdoors, hanging with my dog, and catching up on my weekly comedy podcast addiction. Experiencing a new place through travel is something I enjoy, but don’t do nearly enough! I also pursue creative projects from time to time like film photography and art making, and I love finding a new record for my vinyl setup. I live and breathe music and art, and believe my love for all things aesthetics and entertainment have shaped my personality. I love to joke around and find humor in most things.
Before relocating to Memphis, I spent significant time participating and volunteering with the local American Indian community in DFW where I helped plan and execute cultural events and preserve Indigenous cultural heritage. I still do this from a distance today. In this space, I have the privilege of experiencing the true essence of community and the value of culture. Now in the Deep South, I am finding new ways to love life while eating all the southern cooking I can!
